Aside

Chile. Anyone been there? Thoughts? Or should I go to Argentina? Or Ecuador?

Now that I have a glorious four weeks at this new job (that is going swimmingly well and I may be very close to declaring it love), I can take a little longer than my yearly Thanksgiving week to South or Central America.

Next spring, I hope to hit up Australia and NZ for my big 30th birthday.

Life is suddenly much more refreshing with the world at my fingertips and the time to explore it. Keep on, keepin’ on, my friends.

  1. My vote is for Chile, only because that’s next on our list. Looking for travel buddies?! (hint hint).

Happy to hear you’re enjoying the new gig. Amazing the transformative change it can have when you’re happy at work, huh?

    • Yes! Always. :) Might as well hit up Easter Island, too!

I’m loving the gig. It has its own fair share of BS, but doesn’t every job? I can finally breathe and speak out loud w/out getting in trouble for being “confrontational.”

      • That’s awesome. And yes, there’s always BS and politics. But, I’m in the same boat…it’s been only 3 months, but I know it was the right move for me. I finally have some room to have a little fun with what I do, and I’m loving that!

As for a Fall SA trip…seriously, keep us in the loop. We’re just starting to look at things and formulate some options. It’s been way too long since I’ve been down there.

  2. How awesome that you and Hunner are talking about adventuring together. I bet you guys would have an absolute blast. He didn’t mention it, but I know he love Argentina. I would technically vote for that, as I’ve heard tons of good things about it. But I’m sure Chile is great too. SO glad you’re digging the job. You deserve it!
